Kemer Turkish Bath program of us is one of the best daily excursions you can attend in Antalya Kemer, especially if you want to get rid of stress, exhaustion, overwhelming thoughts and your body’s toxins.

Dating back to thousands of years – specifically Roman era- the idea of bathing in marble rooms that are full of steam and high temperatures was quite popular both for civils and royals.

Then, it didn’t fade in years and was adopted by Ottomans as a traditional bathing culture in time.

  • Sogukluk: Might be translated as “coldness”, this section has lower temperatures (30-35) and it includes toilets and showers.
  • Harareth: This section is the warmest in the entire facility by having 50-60 centigrade degrees. There are heated marble benchs, firebox and a pool called “kurna”.

Things You Should Consider Before Kemer Turkish Bath

When being on your way to get healthier and more relaxed, you don’t want to have some problems instead. In order to avoid any troubles, we would like to list the things you should consider below.

  • Make sure you didn’t eat heavily right before visiting Hammam. Also, don’t consume alcoholic drinks before entering the steam room. And when entering there, you should have a towel wrapped around your body!
  • When the session ends, don’t make sudden moves or rush to get out so as to avoid injuring your muscles.
  • Please follow the recommendations of your therapist during/after the session.

And Turkish Bath session is not recommended for:

  • Pregnant women
  • People with severe lung and respiratory diseases, viral diseases
  • Ones who suffer from fungal skin diseases, cardiovascular diseases and mental diseases.

Benefits of Turkish Hammam

Unless you have health issues, you can benefit from the amazing features of Turkish Bath.

  • For example, it is proven that a hammam session improves blood circulation, revives the skin, increases joint flexibility and relaxes our body muscles due to the special techniques. And olive soap and oils are used to smooth your skin.
  • It helps fighting with cellulite, oedema, rheumatism and diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
  • And it cleanses your body and mind by taking physical and mental pains out of you!

How Often Can You Go to Hammam?

According to the professionals, if you visit hammam more than 3 times in a week, your body will get used to it, and the healing effect of it will significantly decrease.

If you are new to this concept, we recommend you to limit yourself by visiting there once in a week.

If you can tolerate high temperatures and 100% humidity, then you can increase the number of visits up to 2-3 times a week.
